Job summary

City Savings Bank is seeking a Data Analytics Audit Officer to apply data science techniques for inspecting financial, operational, and system records to identify fraud risks, weaknesses, and inefficiencies.

You will extract and clean data, build automated audits, analyze transaction logs for anomalies, design risk dashboards, and collaborate with audit and finance teams to support the audit plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Internal Audit, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Data Science.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in internal audit, data analytics, risk management, or compliance.
• Strong command of SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau; knowledge of Python or ACL is a plus.
• Certified credentials such as CIA, CFE, CISA, or CPA are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data Extraction & Cleaning: pull large data sets from different systems, clean and verify accuracy.
• Audit Automation: build automated scripts, models, and tests for full-population data audits.
• Risk & Fraud Detection: analyze transaction logs for unusual patterns and control failures.
• Dashboards & Reporting: design visual reports, workpapers, and risk dashboards.
• Collaboration: work with audit and finance teams to respond to data requests and support audit plans.
