Job summary

Vibehackers is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to transform ambiguous business problems into production AI products. You will partner with business, product, and tech teams to identify opportunities, prototype solutions, and deliver end-to-end AI systems using LLMs, agents, RAG, APIs, and traditional backend services.

You will own projects from discovery through deployment, collaborating with engineering teams to scale successful solutions and explore new AI capabilities across workflows

Qualifications

• Strong engineering fundamentals with ownership.
• Backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Databases, APIs, authentication, distributed systems, and cloud infra.
• SQL and NoSQL databases proficiency.
• Ability to debug and learn unfamiliar systems independently.
• Hands-on AI experience with LLM APIs and agent workflows.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact AI problems with business teams.
• Turn ambiguous requirements into technical and product solutions.
• Rapidly build and test AI prototypes with real users.
• Develop production apps using LLMs, agents, RAG, and backend services.
• Build backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and system integrations.
• Experiment with models, prompts, and architectures; evaluate performance.
• Create lightweight tools or interfaces for end-to-end delivery.
• Integrate AI systems with enterprise data and workflows.
• Own projects from discovery to pilot and production.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to scale successful solutions.
