Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Expansion & Client Outreach

• Client Portfolio Growth: Collaborate with the broader Forex team to target and engage high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), expanding the firm's foreign exchange client base.
• Market Opportunity Analysis: Provide strategic insights and daily trading recommendations to the Head Trader and Forex Department Head regarding market developments, liquidity trends, and currency price differentials.

Trade Execution & Treasury Operations

• FX Trade Execution: Execute foreign currency transactions efficiently, leveraging market price differences and arbitrage opportunities to maximize profitability.
• FX Level Monitoring: Continuously monitor real-time foreign exchange levels, currency pairs, and economic indicators to anticipate market movements.
• Back Office Coordination: Partner with the Forex Back Office team to ensure smooth end-to-end transaction processing, trade reconciliation, and settlement accuracy.

Regulatory Compliance & Professional Development

• Regulatory Compliance: Stay fully abreast of global market trends and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) rules, guidelines, and compliance standards.
• Skill Enhancement: Attend professional seminars, workshops, and industry updates to refine trading methodologies and keep pace with evolving financial technologies.
• Departmental Support: Fulfill additional treasury and trading assignments as directed by the Forex Department Head.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Education: Graduate of any 4-year Bachelor’s degree program.
• Banking Experience: Minimum of 1+ years of experience within a banking or institutional treasury environment.

Certifications & Skills

• Preferred Certification: Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of foreign exchange mechanics, market liquidity, macroeconomics, and BSP regulatory frameworks.
• Communication & Sales Acumen: Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills suitable for advising high-net-worth clients and senior treasury stakeholders.
