Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Food Technologist in food manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in microbiological, chemical, and sensory analyses.
• Experience with laboratory equipment and testing methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Familiarity with HACCP principles and food safety management systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise food formulations and processing techniques to enhance product quality and shelf life.
• Conduct quality control testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO, and local food safety guidelines.
• Perform microbiological and chemical testing to verify product safety and nutritional content.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to maintain product standards.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and QA teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Document all test results, processes, and findings per company protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated with industry developments and emerging food technologies to recommend innovations.
• Support the development of new products and assist in scaling prototypes to commercial production.
• Train and guide production staff on proper food handling and safety procedures.
