Job summary

Aboitiz Foods in the Philippines is seeking a Quality Assurance role focused on safeguarding product quality at the start of the manufacturing process. You will validate hand-adds and basemix reports, verify micro ingredients, and maintain traceable documentation to prevent deviations.

Responsibilities include non-conformance management, GMP/HACCP compliance, and collaboration with production and QA teams to drive quality improvements and sustainable practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, food technology, chemistry, chemical engineering, or any science-related field.
• Experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance role is preferred but not required.
• Familiar with quality assurance principles, procedures, and tools used in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Validate hand-adds and basemix reports to align with production schedules.
• Independently inspect pre-weighed micro ingredients before mixing into batches.
• Maintain real-time documentation of weight verification for traceability.
• Identify and tag non-conforming batches, incorrect weights, or discrepancies.
• Record observations, deviations, and corrective actions per procedures.
• Ensure GMP, HACCP, and regulatory animal feed standards compliance.
• Record lot numbers, batch codes, and product identifiers for traceability.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with production and QA teams to address quality issues.
• Support sustainability and safety initiatives in line with company goals.
