Job summary

Aboitiz Foods in the Philippines seeks a Quality Assurance Technician to safeguard product quality at the start of the manufacturing process, validating hand-adds and basemix, and ensuring micro ingredients are weighed correctly for nutrient compliance.

You will maintain traceable records, enforce GMP/HACCP, document deviations, and collaborate with production and QA teams while contributing to sustainable, safe feed products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or any science-related course.
• 1 year experience in manufacturing or quality assurance preferred but not required.
• Familiar with QA principles, procedures, and tools used in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Validate hand-adds and basemix; verify micro ingredients before mixing.
• Cross-check reports against production schedule and formulation.
• Maintain real-time weight verification documentation for traceability.
• Tag non-conforming batches and discrepancies immediately.
• Maintain records of inspections, deviations, and corrective actions.
• Ensure GMP, HACCP, and regulatory animal feed standards compliance.
• Record lot numbers, batch codes, and product identifiers for traceability.
• Contribute to quality-improvement initiatives.
• Communicate with production and QA teams to address issues.
• Implement Green Engineering to reduce carbon footprint.
