Job summary

A leading food manufacturer in Pasig is looking for a Microbiologist to conduct microbiological testing, develop cleaning procedures, and ensure compliance with food safety standards. The ideal candidate should have a BS in Microbiology and 3–5 years of experience in a microbiology role within food manufacturing. Strong knowledge of GMP, sanitation practices, and good documentation skills are essential. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a microbiology role within food manufacturing or a related industry.
• Experience in developing/validating cleaning procedures is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental swabs.
• Develop, improve, and validate cleaning and sanitation procedures for all plant operations.
• Implement and maintain the facility’s environmental monitoring program.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and overall food safety and sanitation requirements.
• Troubleshoot microbiological or sanitation-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
