Job summary
A leading food manufacturer in Pasig is looking for a Microbiologist to conduct microbiological testing, develop cleaning procedures, and ensure compliance with food safety standards. The ideal candidate should have a BS in Microbiology and 3–5 years of experience in a microbiology role within food manufacturing. Strong knowledge of GMP, sanitation practices, and good documentation skills are essential. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work on-site and contribute to maintaining high standards in food safety.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in a microbiology role within food manufacturing or a related industry.
Experience in developing/validating cleaning procedures is an advantage.
Responsibilities
Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental swabs.
Develop, improve, and validate cleaning and sanitation procedures for all plant operations.
Implement and maintain the facility’s environmental monitoring program.
Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and overall food safety and sanitation requirements.
Troubleshoot microbiological or sanitation-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare reports, maintain records, and ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
