Unilogix, Inc. seeks a Food Manufacturing Process Engineer to lead transfer, installation, testing, and optimization of equipment for breads, pastries, and other products.
The role focuses on integrating new or upgraded equipment into production with emphasis on food safety, quality, productivity, and reliability. Responsibilities include coordinating with Production, Engineering/Maintenance, Facilities, QA, R&D, Safety, and external suppliers to ensure successful implementation from planning
The Food Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for leading and supporting the transfer, installation, testing, commissioning, qualification, and optimization of food manufacturing equipment and production processes within the commissary plant. The role focuses on ensuring that new, relocated, or upgraded equipment is properly integrated into the production operations for breads, pastries, and other food products, while meeting requirements for food safety, quality, productivity, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
Licence or Certification: PRC engineering license if applicable
Education/Training: Must have at least bachelor's degree in Food Engeneering, Manufactiring Engineering, Mechanical Engeneering, Chemical Engeneering, or any related engeneering field.
Skills and Experience: Must have at least 2-year experinece in food manufacturing operations as Process enginner or in a field that offers well-rounded background in manufacturing operations. Must also have a problem solving, communication skills, and good understanding of food manufacturing process, food safety requirements, HACCP, GMP, and GHP. In addition, proficient in AutoCAD and technical drawing.
