Job summary

Business Process Outsourcing International, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Food Analyst to manage, analyze, and maintain food and product data.

The role focuses on accurate data encoding and validation in SAP, monitoring information, and preparing reports to support operations. You will coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure data integrity, reconcile discrepancies, and generate insights from data to guide business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
• At least 1 year of experience in data analysis or data management.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving.

FOOD ANALYST

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Food Analyst who will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and maintaining food and product-related data. The role involves accurate data encoding and validation in SAP, monitoring product information, preparing reports, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of food-related data used for business and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Encode, maintain, and update food and product-related data in SAP and other company systems.

• Analyze and validate food/product data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

• Review product information, specifications, codes, descriptions, and other relevant data before system entry.

• Monitor data entries and identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, or missing information.

• Perform data reconciliation and coordinate with concerned departments to resolve data discrepancies.

• Prepare and maintain regular reports, summaries, and data analysis related to food products.

• Extract and organize data from SAP and other databases for analysis and reporting.

• Track changes and updates to product information and ensure that system records are kept current.

• Analyze trends, variances, and patterns in food/product data and provide relevant insights to support business decisions.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of product and data-related transactions.

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of spreadsheets, databases, dashboards, and other analytical tools.

• Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Quality, Supply Chain, and other departments to verify and maintain accurate food/product information.

• Ensure data is handled in accordance with established company processes, standards, and confidentiality requirements.

• Perform other data analysis and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• At least 1 year of relevant experience in data analysis, data management, product data management, or a similar analytical role.

• Experience in SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic data analysis.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling large volumes of data.

• Ability to identify data discrepancies and perform data validation and reconciliation.

• Good organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with different departments.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple data-related tasks within deadlines.
