Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a results-driven Merchant Growth professional in the Philippines to grow the FMCG seller ecosystem on our marketplace. You will acquire and incubate brands, manage large merchants, and work to boost GMV while delivering excellent seller experience.

You will build strategic relationships, negotiate campaigns, and explore JBPs with merchants, including content/live selling initiatives. A background in e-commerce and familiarity with FMCG brands are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in the e-commerce industry.
• Familiar with FMCG brands.
• Experience with selling through content or live streaming.
• Direct experience with sellers in relevant industries.
• Exposure to Food & Beverages / Groceries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and incubate brands, principals and large merchants contributing GMV.
• Build and maintain relationships with merchants; negotiate deals based on campaigns.
• Identify collaborative opportunities and JBPs aligned with merchant plans.
• Maintain service quality for sellers.
• Reduce cancellations/returns, manage shipping timelines to boost conversions.
• Manage merchants through incubation programs and tools.
