Archipelago Philippine Ferries Corporation is seeking an experienced Technical Manager in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. This full-time role oversees the technical aspects of ferry services and ensures safety, efficiency, and reliability across the fleet.

The candidate should have a 5-6 year track record in shipping or ship management, and be proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD is a plus but not required. Strong leadership and multitasking abilities are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering course.
• With at least 5-6 years of work-related experience particularly in Shipping Industry or Ship Management.
• Must be knowledgeable on MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), knowledge on AUTOCAD is a plus but is not required.
• Must be a team player, able to multi-task, be a role model and can work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the maintenance, repair and technical performance of our ferry fleet
• Ensure all vessels comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with the operations team to optimize ferry schedules and maintain service reliability.
• Supervise and develop the technical team, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Identify and implement improvements to increase operational efficiency.
• Manage technical projects and budgets effectively.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers and regulatory bodies as required.
