Cobden & Carter International is seeking a Fixed Income Trader in the Philippines, based at BGC, Taguig. The role focuses on delivering profitability by managing fixed-income flows for local corporate clients and financial institutions.

You will quote rates and derivatives, work with Relationship Managers, analyze rate trends, and ensure regulatory compliance. The position requires 5+ years in treasury/trading and familiarity with Bloomberg and Reuters.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a four-year course.
• Passed the Treasury Certification Program.
• Passed the Certification Examination for Fixed Income Salesmen (CEFIMS).
• Familiar with market systems such as Bloomberg and Reuters.
• At least 5 years of experience in Treasury and/or trading functions.

Responsibilities

• Delivers the expected profitability for fixed income trading.
• Quotes fixed income rates and derivatives prices to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborates with Relationship Managers for product knowledge and promotion.
• Monitors interest rate trends using technical and fundamental analysis.
• Ensures compliance with limits and regulatory requirements.
• Inputs transactions in Murex, Xpads and other systems.
• Produces reports on a daily/monthly/quarterly basis.

Fixed Income Trader under Financial Markets

Role Purpose:

Deliver high quality service to local corporate clients and financial institutions by managing and trading fixedincome flows.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivers the expected profitability.
• Quotes fixed income rates and derivatives prices to qualified external clients and internal departments as needed.
• Works closely with Relationship Managers for financial markets product knowledge and product promotion.
• Monitors and analyzes interest rate trends based on technical and fundamental analysis.
• Ensures that the concerned units and management are aware with latest developments in the fixed income markets and regulations
• Makes market review and commentaries on interest rates and yield curves.
• Innovates new financial markets products based on client needs and regulatory requirements.
• Inputs transactions in Murex, Xpads and any applicable system
• Maintains and updates the manual and SOP for financial markets business as required.
• Conducts training sessions as needed
• Completes internal & external daily/monthly/quarterly reports on time.
• Ensures compliance to limits and regulatory requirements.

Job Specifications:
