Job summary

Tasq Work in Makati, Philippines is seeking a senior Network Engineer to lead data centre network infrastructure deployments and application migration within secure, firewall-protected environments.

Expect extensive work with Cisco NX-OS/IOS-XE, Cisco ACI, Fortinet and Juniper firewalls, plus IP routing with IGP/BGP, DNS/SDWAN exposure, and VMware NSX/DFW hands-on experience. Hybrid work setup with on-site in Makati and WFH options is offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of practical experience in implementing complex Data Centre Network Infra
• Expert-level routing & switching knowledge (Cisco Catalyst, Nexus)
• Hands-on with VMware NSX & DFW (1–2 years)
• Exposure to DNS and SDWAN at conceptual level
• Extensive experience with Cisco NX-OS & IOS-XE platforms
• Deep knowledge of IP-based networking architecture and TCP/IP/Ethernet protocols
• Experience in large-scale network delivery projects and migration workflows
• Strong documentation, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute assigned network delivery projects
• Coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and stakeholders on migration of network infrastructure and application flows
• Document processes and hand over to operations
• Ensure compliance with bank standards, processes and controls

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years practical experience inimplementing complex Data Centre Network Infraand execution of network project infrastructure deployment involving migration of application.
• Strong expertise in Routing & Switching, Catalyst, Nexus with min 5 years of experience at expert level
• VMWare NSX & DFW hands on (min 1-2 years experience)
• Exposure to DNS and SDWAN at conceptual level

Hands on working experience on:

• Router and switches: Cisco NX-OS & IOS-XE,
• Firewall: Fortinet, Juniper, Cisco
• Project experiencepreferably in migration Network infrastructureandapplication flow through firewalled environment
• Demonstrate an expert understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP and Ethernet protocols
• Expert design knowledge of IP based networking architecture
• Understanding of IGP & BGP IP Routing Protocol
• Experience on configuring Cisco ACI, NX & IOS-XE platform
• Deep expertise, understanding and knowledge of Infrastructure Network and Security – Routing and Switching, Firewalls
• Strong hands-on experience on Cisco Network Hardware like Cisco NX-OS switches, IOS-XE switches, Cisco ACI, Fortinet and Juniper firewalls
• Basic knowledge on scripting language Python
• Proven experience in working on large scale project
• Planning, coordination and execution of assigned network delivery project
• Perform coordination withinternal/external vendor, internal bank personnel and other stakeholder for matter relating to network delivery
• Ensure compliance on work carried out against the bank standard, process and control
• Perform documentation, knowledge transfer and handover to operation team
• Excellent communication and co-ordination skills
