Job summary

Primover Consultancy Services, Inc. in Makati is seeking a Systems Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in systems applications development, full stack, preferably in the financial sector. The role is on-site and requires a Bachelor’s degree in CS or CE.

You will design, develop, and maintain robust software across the stack, work on payment gateways and network architectures, and contribute to documentation, testing, and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any related course
• At least 3 - 5 years’ experience in systems applications development, full stack, specifically in the financial sector.
• Familiar with payment gateways, automated clearing house and network switch architectures
• Collaboration, Effective Communication, Innovation, Attention to Details, Resiliency, Self Development, Execution Excellence
• Proficient programming skills; Proficient database programming and administration skills; System Design; Stakeholder Management, unit and integration testing, system troubleshooting and system/technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• A Systems Engineer plays a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure software systems across the entire technology stack from front-end interfaces to back-end services and databases.
• This role is also expected to estimate and forecast “build” effort requirement, be aware of and meet deadlines and/or schedules, identify and plan for risks, analyze impact of work to be done against other systems and ensure that the work being done is in accordance with the needs of the user
• Beyond coding, this role demands strong capabilities in systems documentation, ensuring that architecture, workflows, and implementation details are clearly recorded for maintainability and team collaboration.
• Proficiency in unit testing and integration testing is essential to validate individual components and ensure seamless interaction between system modules, contributing to overall software reliability.
• Additionally, a skilled developer in this role actively participates in code reviews, demonstrating an eye for clean, efficient, and secure code while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
