Job summary

Umpisa Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a meticulous Test Analyst to help ensure the accuracy, performance, and regulatory compliance of financial systems and digital banking solutions. You will work with developers, business analysts, and product teams in a regulated environment.

The role covers creating test plans, executing tests across web, mobile, and API interfaces, and logging defects in JIRA while collaborating in a Scrum team. Experience with Postman and automation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing of financial systems and digital banking applications.
• Experience creating and executing test plans and test scripts.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and test lifecycle.
• Familiarity with KYC/AML and PCI-DSS a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing on financial platforms.
• Log defects in JIRA and track resolution with the team.
• Collaborate with QA leads, developers and analysts to validate features.
• Test across web, mobile, and API-based applications in multiple environments.
• Support testing of payments, loans, digital wallets, or other financial services.
• Validate system compliance with regulations (KYC, AML, PCI-DSS).
• Contribute to QA documentation and knowledge bases.
• Monitor application performance and user feedback post-deployment.
