Job summary

Umpisa Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a meticulous Test Analyst to test financial systems, APIs, and digital banking platforms, ensuring accuracy, performance, and regulatory compliance in a regulated environment.

You will work with developers, business analysts, and product teams in a Scrum setting, develop test plans, execute cases, log defects, and help maintain QA documentation and knowledge bases.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/testing in FinTech or banking domains.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proficiency in test planning and executing test cases.
• Familiarity with API testing and automation basics.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements (KYC, AML, PCI-DSS) a plus.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience with mobile and cross-browser testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing test plans, test cases and scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, log and track defects using Jira or similar tools.
• Collaborate with QA leads, developers and analysts to validate features.
• Test across environments (UAT, staging, production) for web, mobile, and API apps.
• Support testing of payments, wallets, or other financial services features.
• Validate system compliance with regulations (KYC, AML, PCI-DSS).
• Contribute to QA documentation and knowledge bases.
• Monitor application performance and user feedback post-deployment.
