Job summary

China Construction Bank in the Philippines seeks an experienced software professional to support system development, enhancements, and project delivery across business units. You will apply your programming skills and fintech knowledge to implement practical solutions.

The role requires strong full-stack capabilities (Python/Java, Vue.js/React.js), database and API experience, and Mandarin communication to liaise with Head Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Analysis, etc.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant software development or fintech experience in banking or finance
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and principles
• Experience with Python and Java; frontend frameworks like Vue.js and React.js; full-stack development preferred
• Familiar with relational databases, API integration, and version control tools
• Good communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in Mandarin (listening, speaking, reading and writing) to liaise with Head Office and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders

• Liaise with the Head Office Fintech teams and internal business units to support system development, enhancement, and project delivery.
• Understand complex business requirements and implement practical software solutions accordingly.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of in-house applications, automation tools, and management reporting functions
• Ensure that software specifications, workflows, and processes are documented.
• Any other duties as directed by the Head of Department of the Fintech Department or Branch Management.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Analysis etc.).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in software development or fintech-related roles. Banking or financial industry experience will be an advantage. A track record of success in roles related to software development or innovation.
• A strong understanding of the methodologies and principles of software development.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python and Java, as well as frontend frameworks such as Vue.js and React.js. Full-stack development experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with relational databases, API integration, and version control tools.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Mandarin ( listening, speaking , reading and writing) to liaise with Head office colleagues and Mandarin speaking stakeholders
