Job summary

PM Consulting is seeking a Finance Analyst to support monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis. You will investigate discrepancies and drive improvements in reporting processes across Finance, IT, and Operations.

Collaboration with external auditors and senior management will be routine as you prepare data for earnings releases and board presentations. The role requires a strong finance background, Big Four experience, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Finance and Accounting.
• Must have experience working with a Big Four accounting firm.
• Knowledge of financial statements, financial reporting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and formulas.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or NetSuite is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Conduct income statement variance analysis and identify key business performance drivers.
• Investigate financial discrepancies and implement appropriate resolutions.
• Support enhancements to financial reporting tools and ERP systems.
• Handle ad hoc financial reporting requests from senior management.
• Coordinate with external auditors during monthly, quarterly, and annual audits.
• Collaborate with Operations, IT, and Finance teams to improve reporting processes.
• Prepare and maintain financial data for quarterly earnings releases, board presentations, and SEC filings.
