Job summary

John Clements Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Financial Reporting & Controlling Manager with deep expertise in technical accounting and financial advisory to support global clients across industries.

You will lead IFRS/US GAAP/UK GAAP advisory, conduct accounting research, mentor teams, and collaborate with onshore teams while delivering high-quality engagements in a hybrid setup (2x onsite weekly).

Qualifications

• Provide technical accounting advisory on IFRS, US GAAP, or UK GAAP, including GAAP conversion, accounting policies, new standards implementation, and financial statement disclosures.
• Advise clients on complex accounting matters such as business combinations, consolidation, revenue, leases, financial instruments, and share-based payments.
• Conduct accounting research, prepare technical papers/whitepapers, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Manage client engagements and ensure quality, timely delivery, and effective stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with onshore teams.
• Lead and mentor teams of professionals and provide guidance to junior team members.
• Support business development, training, thought leadership, and continuous process improvement.

About you

• Graduate of BS Accountancy

• Preferably CPA

• At least 10 years of experience in Financial Reporting and Controlling

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP or UK GAAP

• Above average communication skills

• Willing to work in hybrid set-up (2x a week onsite and 3 days work from home) and day shift schedule
