Job summary

Manila Water is seeking a seasoned FP&A professional to drive financial performance reporting for the Enterprise across the East and non-east zones. You will generate month-end close reports, quarterly leadership analyses, and cashflow reviews to support management decisions.

The role leads the annual budget exercise, consolidates submissions, challenges budgets, and presents to the Board. You will coordinate with leaders and also serve as the SAP Analytics Cloud administrator to ensure accurate

Qualifications

• CPA with at least 4–6 years of work experience in financial analysis, financial reporting & consolidation.
• Exposure in budgeting for group of companies, forecasting for group of companies, Modeling.

Responsibilities

• Report financial performance of the Enterprise (East Zone, Non-east zone and consolidated) vs Budget/Forecast and highlight trends for management decisions.
• Prepare month-end close management reports, quarterly leadership financial reports, and monthly cashflow, below EBITDA and CAPEX reporting.
• Lead the annual budget exercise and manage consolidation/submission/presentation of the consolidated budget.
• Review budgets, challenge submissions, identify risks, and present recommendations to management and the Board.
• Liaise with divisional leaders to understand requirements and act as system administrator/owner for SAP Analytics Cloud.

Job description

• To report financial performance of the Enterprise (East Zone, Non-east zone and consolidated) compared to Budget or Forecast and to highlight key trends that will impact management’s decisions. Example of report are as follows:

Month-end close management reports

Quarterly leadership financial reports

Monthly Cashflow, below EBITDA and CAPEX reporting

Other adhoc analysis related to budgets and forecast

• To review opportunities for capital expenditures, and other Enterprise projects and initiatives, and to make recommendations aligned with the strategic objectives of the Company.
• Lead the annual budget exercise
• Manage all processes leading to the submission, consolidation and presentation of consolidated budget
• Challenge the budget submissions and red-flag risks
• Prepare analysis and presentation to the MWC Board for approval of the consolidated budget
• Orally present the consolidated budget solicit approval from stakeholders
• Review projects and ensure key issues and risks are flagged and/or addressed
• Reviews reports and ensures key risks and recommendations on projects and initiatives that have financial impact on the Enterprise (including CAPEX/OPEX) are captured in reports for submission to Management
• This requires liaising with different leaders to understand divisional requirements
• Act as the system administrator/ owner for SAP Analytics Cloud
