Premier Viking Management Services Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a Financial and Tax Analyst to manage tax compliance and accounting duties.
You will prepare and file tax returns, handle VAT, withholding taxes, income tax, BIR filings, audits, and maintain books of accounts; perform bank reconciliations and monitor tax law changes. The role requires 2–3 years in tax compliance, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
As a Financial and Tax Analyst, you will:
Prepare and file tax returns, including supporting schedules, worksheets, Alphalists, Summary Lists of Sales and Purchases, and other BIR requirements.
Ensure accurate and timely filing and payment of taxes with the BIR and other government agencies.
Maintain compliance with books of accounts requirements, including registration, maintenance, and submission when required.
Assist during BIR audits, tax assessments, and investigations by preparing and organizing necessary documentation.
Maintain accurate and complete tax records and supporting documents.
Reconcile tax-related accounts and prepare corresponding journal entries.
Prepare audit schedules and required documents for interim and annual external audits.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations for all company bank accounts.
Monitor updates in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on company operations.
Recommend process improvements to strengthen compliance and increase operational efficiency.

Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any related field
At least 2 to 3 years of experience in tax compliance and accounting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
Experience handling BIR audits, tax assessments, and investigations
Experience supporting annual audit engagements
Familiarity with tax compliance requirements for local companies
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
