Job summary

Fluor Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a skilled accounting professional to design and prepare financial reports, analyze results, and support budgeting and variance analysis. The role emphasizes adherence to accounting policies and effective communication with management.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (CPA/CMA preferred) and at least two years of accounting experience, with SAP familiarity considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related function.
• Professional certification CMA/CPA preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated technical accounting knowledge and ability to apply it to responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare financial reports; analyze results in line with accounting theory and policies.
• Assist in preparation and input of financial plans to meet department needs.
• Perform budget vs. actual analysis and document variances and causes.
• Present findings to financial and operational management.
• Perform account reconciliations and research unusual items; resolve inaccuracies.
• May propose and record journal vouchers.
• Analyze and make independent recommendations to solve problems of varying complexity.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position designs and prepares financial reports and analyzes results. This requires an understanding of the activities being performed with respect to accounting theory and company policies as needed for the position.

Assist in preparation and input of financial plans to meet the needs of the department

Perform budget versus actual analysis, identification of variances, and documentation of causes

Present findings to financial and operational management

Perform account reconciliations, research unexpected items and resolve inaccuracies

May be responsible to propose and record journal vouchers

Basic Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related function.
• Professional certification as a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
• Demonstrated technical accounting knowledge and the ability to apply job‑related expertise to perform assigned responsibilities effectively.
