Job summary

Confidential in Canlubang, Laguna, is seeking a Finance Specialist to support cost analysis, financial reporting, and business insights for manufacturing operations. You will work with operations to monitor costs and provide timely financial information.

You will prepare monthly reports, analyze cost drivers, assist in budgeting, forecasts, and long-term plans, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate cost assumptions and savings opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong cost accounting knowledge including standard costing and cost allocation.
• Experience in financial reporting and cost analysis for manufacturing.
• Fresh graduates welcome; cost/product costing and financial analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and interpret monthly financial reports for manufacturing performance.
• Monitor Gross Margin, NOI, Conversion Cost, cost per unit/kg.
• Analyze cost drivers: pricing, material usage, yields, efficiency.
• Compare actuals vs budgets/forecasts/history to identify trends and risks.
• Support month-end closing with accruals and detailed analysis.
• Assist budgeting, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Collaborate with Operations to validate cost assumptions and savings.

The Finance Specialist will play a key role in supporting the financial performance of our manufacturing operations by providing cost analysis, financial reporting, and business insights. This role partners closely with operations to monitor costs, identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, and support strategic decision-making through accurate and timely financial information.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and interpret monthly financial reports to provide insights into manufacturing performance.
• Monitor key financial metrics such as Gross Margin, Net Operating Income (NOI), Conversion Cost, and cost per unit or kilogram.
• Analyze cost drivers, including pricing, material usage, production yields, and operational efficiencies, with particular attention to minimizing food waste and losses.
• Compare actual results against budgets, forecasts, and historical performance to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support month-end closing activities through accrual preparation and detailed financial analysis.
• Contribute to the planning process by assisting in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Collaborate closely with Operations and cross-functional teams to validate cost assumptions and evaluate savings initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related business discipline.
• CPA or CIA designation is an advantage but not required.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with experience in cost accounting, product costing, or financial analysis will have an added advantage.
• Understanding of cost accounting concepts such as standard costing, cost allocation, inventory management, and activity-based costing.
• Familiarity with accounting systems, ERP platforms, or financial software is a plus.
• Willing to work in a hybrid setup based in Canlubang, Laguna.
