Job summary

Zenith Foods Corporation in Laguna, Philippines invites a Product Costing Specialist to join our Finance team. The role focuses on profitability management, cost analysis, budgeting, and transfer pricing to support manufacturing and logistics operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accountancy and has up to 1 year of Product Costing experience, with strong FP&A and P&L awareness. This is a hybrid work arrangement based in Canlubang.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related fields.
• Preferably a CPA or CIA certification.
• At least 6 months of experience in Product Costing from Manufacturing and Logistics industries.
• Solid background in Profit & Loss Management or FP&A.
• Willing to work in Canlubang, Laguna (Hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Profitability Management: Reviews variances on major P&L and balance sheet accounts.
• Financial Modeling: Participate in cross-functional projects and analyze financial impact.
• Financial Management, Reporting, and Budgeting: Gather and maintain data for budget preparation and month-end closing.
• Prepare financial reports using historical data and identify recurring vs one-time transactions.

Job description

The Product Costing Specialist isresponsibleforfinancial,balancesheet, account review and variance analysis, standard costing and transfer pricing, budgeting and forecasting, financial advisory, and compliance to company policies and government regulation.

Profitability Management

• Reviews significant variances on major profit & loss and balance sheet accounts.

• Gather and maintain actual data of manpower cost, and operations provisions (e.g. manhours and headcount, operating supplies, rate)

Financial Modeling

• Participate in cross-functional projects within Supply Chain and provide insights on financial impact.

• Gathers, validates, and processes data using financial analysis tools

Financial Management, Reporting, and Budgeting

• Gathers, organizes, and maintains historical data related to budget preparation and identify one time off and recurring transactions

• Define month-end financial closing issues

• Gathers and maintains current and historical financial data needed in the preparation of financial reports.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or related fields.

• Preferably a Certified Public Accountants or Certified Internal Auditor.

• With at least 6 months of experience in Product Costing from Manufacturing and Logistics industries.

• With a solid background in Profit & Loss Management or Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Must be willing to work in Canlubang, Laguna (Hybrid)
