Job summary

Beepo Inc in the Philippines is seeking an experienced accounting professional to own AP/AR processes and payments, manage daily and weekly sales reporting, and drive the month-end and year-end close with balance sheet reconciliations.

You will prepare timely monthly financial reports and analysis to support leadership, ensure BAS, PAYG, Payroll Taxes, Superannuation and WorkCover compliance, and perform data analysis to back commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• CA qualified with post-qualification accounting experience.
• Experienced in month-end close and Australian compliance (BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Payroll, Superannuation, WorkCover).
• Strong reconciliation and general ledger skills with attention to detail.
• Able to draw commercial conclusions from large data sources.
• Clear communicator able to explain finance to non-spreadsheet people.
• Experience with cloud-based Retail/Ecommerce systems such as Shopify, CIN7 Core, Xero and DEXT.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce or omni-channel is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own the accounts inbox, including AP and AR processes and payments.
• Run the daily and weekly sales reporting and commentary.
• Own the month-end and year-end close process including balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare timely, accurate monthly financial reports and analysis, and support leadership with performance reporting.
• Prepare compliance reporting including BAS, PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, WorkCover.
• Prepare data analysis to support commercial decisions.
