Job summary

Reliance United is seeking an AP, GL, and Tax Assistant Manager to oversee the company’s general ledger, tax functions, and accounts payable operations. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with GAAP, and adherence to tax laws while maintaining strong internal controls.

You will guide accounting staff and coordinate with auditors and regulators. Candidates should have a CPA, at least five years in accounting/finance, and strong Excel/MS Office skills to handle month-end

Qualifications

• CPA certification and strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Minimum of 5 years in accounting, audit, tax, or finance.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger activities including month-end and year-end closing.
• Ensure accuracy of financial records and balance sheet accounts.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
• Oversee tax compliance, returns, and statutory reporting.
• Manage accounts payable processes and vendor payments.
• Strengthen internal controls over disbursements.
• Coordinate with auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Guide accounting and finance staff.
