Job summary

Business Process Outsourcing International, Inc. seeks a Finance and Accounting Analyst with Tax Experience to support the finance team in maintaining accurate records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring tax compliance in the Philippines.

The role requires knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR regulations, experience with VAT and withholding tax filings, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams. The position is onsite in Makati City.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 1–2 years of experience in Finance and Accounting with relevant tax experience
• Working knowledge of Philippine taxation and BIR regulations
• Experience in preparing VAT, withholding tax, and other tax-related reports and filings
• Knowledge of account reconciliation and financial reporting
• Profi cient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems is an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
• Willing to work onsite in Makati City

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and analyze accounting and financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, schedules, and account reconciliations.
• Perform analysis of financial transactions and investigate variances or discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, tax schedules, and other tax-related reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate compliance with BIR tax requirements and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of documents and schedules required for tax audits and assessments.
• Monitor tax deadlines and maintain proper documentation of tax filings and payments.
• Reconcile tax-related accounts and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist in the preparation of VAT, withholding tax, income tax, and other applicable tax reports.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial and tax records.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external parties regarding accounting and tax concerns.
• Perform other finance and accounting-related tasks as assigned.
