Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Finance Specialist to join our Finance team and help shape the future of global commerce. You will reconcile payroll and financial system data monthly, deliver standard and ad hoc reports, and support month-end close and budgeting.

You’ll transform large datasets into insights with advanced Excel, collaborate with stakeholders to forecast inputs, and help drive accurate financial classification and reporting across CAPEX vs. OPEX.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of BPO/shared services experience delivering financial analytics.
• Perform variance analysis to improve forecast accuracy and decision-making.
• Understand CAPEX vs. OPEX for accurate financial classification.
• Transform large, unstructured datasets into actionable insights using Excel.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather forecasting inputs and provide business insights.

What You'll Own

• Reconcile payroll and financial system data monthly to ensure accurate forecasts and financial reporting.
• Deliver timely standard and ad hoc reports, and analyze variances to provide actionable insights to budget owners and finance stakeholders.
• Support month-end close and annual budgeting by generating subledger reports, reviewing transactions, and validating financial data.
• Strengthen finance operations by documenting processes, improving workflows, supporting high-volume demands, and driving issue resolution and ad hoc analyses.

What You'll Bring

• Leverage 1+ years of experience in BPO/shared services to deliver high-quality financial and business analysis with increasing ownership and impact.
• Perform variance analysis, data mining, and month-end close activities to improve forecast accuracy and decision-making.
• Apply a strong understanding of CAPEX vs. OPEX to ensure accurate financial classification and reporting.
• Transform large, unstructured datasets into actionable insights using advanced Excel techniques (e.g., pivot tables, lookup functions, nested formulas).
• Think like a client by proactively collaborating with stakeholders, gathering forecasting inputs, and delivering insights that drive business value and informed decision-making.

It's a bonus if you have

• Experience using Oracle and Hyperion systems to support efficient financial reporting and analysis.
• A degree in Accounting or Finance that strengthens financial expertise and business insight.
