Job summary

Sia Partners in Mumbai is seeking a Finance & Revenue Accountant to support the accounting for our new Indian office and other entities in the Group. You will report to the Accountant Manager in Mumbai and assist local Finance teams in month-end closing.

You will raise sales invoices, post to accounting software, perform GL maintenance, reconcile accounts, and manage intercompany invoicing and cash collection.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience as an accountant in a corporate environment and/or experience in an audit firm.
• Good Communication Skills.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Attention to detail, organization and thorough.
• Excellent time management, management of strict deadlines.
• Team player with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to prioritize and deliver quality work in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
• Continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assisting local Finance teams in month end closing

• General ledger maintenance and reconciliation
• Opening and managing customer projects in timesheets and invoicing system
• Issuing intercompany invoices and reconciliation
• Following-up customer payments and monitoring cash collection progress
• Reviewing and recharging client expenses
• Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet, payroll, and revenue
• Intercompany accounting support
• All other ad hoc duties as required

You will report directly to the Accountant Manager in Mumbai.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting local Finance teams in month end closing

• General ledger maintenance and reconciliation
• Opening and managing customer projects in Sia Partners' timesheets and invoicing system
• Issuing intercompany invoices and reconciliation
• Following-up customer payments and monitoring cash collection progress
• Reviewing and recharging client expenses
• Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet, payroll, and revenue
• Intercompany accounting support
• All other ad hoc duties as required
