Job summary

Concepcion Business Services, Inc. seeks a senior finance leader to drive month-end to year-end closes, consolidations, and statutory reporting under PFRS and IFRS.

You will oversee external audits, tax and internal controls, and deliver executive management reports with variance analysis. The role requires 10+ years in financial reporting with at least 5 years in people management, a BS in Accountancy, and an active CPA license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (essential).
• Active CPA license (essential).
• Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in financial reporting and controllership with at least 5 years in people management (essential).
• Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (desired).
• Certifications related to IFRS Financial Reporting or Internal Controls (desired).
• Experience in Big 4 or shared services environment with hands-on SAP experience (desired).
• English and Tagalog language proficiency.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Leadership and people management skills.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities (essential).

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, consolidations, and statutory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with PFRS, IFRS, SEC, and BIR requirements.
• Coordinate and manage external audit activities.
• Manage controllership including fixed asset accounting, policy development and enforcement, internal control maintenance and enhancements.
• Supervise tax and compliance oversight ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Generate management reports and perform variance analysis for senior leadership.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and implement automation tools such as SAP, Adaptive Insights, and HFM.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for managers, team leads, and specialists.
