Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in Manila is establishing a dedicated Checker to independently verify reconciliations, entries and submissions prepared by the Finance Officer. This role acts as the control point before postings, payments, or filings, ensuring accuracy in a cross-border money movement environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in accounting/audit/treasury, strong review skills, ERP experience (NetSuite/Xero), and excellent English communication. CPA is an advantage but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; CPA advantage but not required.
• 3–5 years in accounting, internal/audit, or treasury operations.
• Experience reviewing work: reconciliation, payments, audit testing.

Responsibilities

• Independent verification of reconciliations, entries and submissions before posting.
• Act as second verifier on payments and settlement instructions with delegated limits.
• Maintain exceptions register and ageing log; escalate where needed.
• Review BSP, SEC, and BSP-related reporting packs for accuracy.
• Identify control improvements and update review checklists.
