Job summary

STARBREAKER CORP in Makati/Metro Manila is seeking a Finance Officer to support daily accounting and finance operations using Oracle NetSuite. You will process transactions, perform reconciliations, manage AP/AR, and maintain accurate NetSuite records.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 2–4 years of experience and strong NetSuite competencies. Proficiency in Excel and attention to detail are essential for accurate reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain accounting transactions in Oracle NetSuite.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities including invoices and payments.
• Perform daily and monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial and management reports and account analyses.
• Monitor cash flow and financial transactions; ensure accurate coding in NetSuite.

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Officer with hands-on experience using Oracle NetSuite to support daily accounting and finance operations. The role is responsible for accurate transaction processing, reconciliations, financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining reliable financial records within NetSuite.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and maintain accounting transactions in Oracle NetSuite.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoices, payments, collections, and customer/vendor accounts.
• Perform daily and monthly bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports, management reports, and account analyses.
• Monitor cash flow, outstanding receivables, payables, and financial transactions.
• Ensure accurate coding and classification of expenses and transactions in NetSuite.
• Maintain and update customer, vendor, and financial master data.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support external and internal audits by providing required schedules and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting standards.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues promptly.
• Assist with improving financial processes and NetSuite workflows/reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance operations.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP, preferably in an accounting/finance environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end closing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience creating NetSuite saved searches, reports, and dashboards.
• Familiarity with NetSuite modules such as General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.
• Knowledge of internal controls and audit procedures.
• Experience with process automation and ERP improvements.
• Knowledge of local tax and statutory reporting requirements.
