Job summary

Menarco Development Corporation in Metro Manila is seeking a driven Finance Officer to support the full spectrum of finance operations including accounting, AP/AR, treasury, budgeting, and reporting. The role offers exposure to strategic finance initiatives and collaboration with senior finance leaders.

The ideal candidate has 4–6 years of accounting/finance experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems, with CPA an asset. This is a full-time, on-site position in Taguig.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• CPA designation is an advantage but not required.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or related functions.
• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, treasury, budgeting, or general accounting is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
• Process and monitor accounts payable, vendor payments, statutory remittances, and cash disbursements.
• Manage accounts receivable activities, including billing, collections, Statements of Account, aging reports, and revenue reconciliations.
• Prepare bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and assist in treasury and banking transactions.
• Support budget preparation, financial analysis, variance reporting, and management reporting.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve finance-related matters efficiently.
• Support external and internal audit requirements and maintain effective financial controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Demonstrate flexibility by supporting multiple finance functions and participating in cross-functional finance projects as business needs evolve.
