SBI Capital Markets Ltd. is seeking a seasoned accountant in the Philippines (Negros Occidental region) to own month-end close, MIS reporting, and financial analytics.

The role requires coordinating with senior management, ensuring accuracy, and delivering clear presentations. Expertise in Ind AS and IGAAP is advantageous, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills to support board and management communications.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in financial services or similar industry.
• Experience in accounting close, MIS reporting and financial statement preparation.
• Proficient in preparing management presentations for senior leadership.
• Excellent written and oral communication, with ability to liaise across departments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely month end closing and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly MIS files within set timelines.
• Respond to management and business group inquiries on MIS.
• Perform monthly variance analysis and communicate findings.
• Prepare and present quarterly and annual financial performance notes.
• Oversee accounts payable and coordination for investment valuation and accounting.
• Prepare and review quarterly board meeting presentations.
