SANTOS LAND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION is looking for a FINANCE MANAGER.

The Finance Manager steers the financial direction of the business, and undertakes all strategic financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, lead, and control various activities of the Finance Department.
• Review financial projections prepared and determine possible sourcing of capital and cash disbursements.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budget.
• Review cash flow analysis and other forms of reports to determine cash position and assess financial health of the company.
• Ensure accurate and timely dissemination of information to shareholders.
• Communicate ratios relevant to shareholders.
• Responsible for bank related transactions.
Coordinate with the Credit and Collection Head to ensure efficiency of collections.
• Assist the CFO in the determination of doubtful accounts.
• Coordinate with the marketing department on sales.
• Analysis of project feasibility studies for investments.
• Monitor results of investments.
• Manage forex risk, interest rate risk, and liquidity risk.
• Analysis on the results of operations, identify concerns encountered during implementation, and provide solutions/suggestions for improvement.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

Education

• Degree in Accountancy
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Experience

• At least five years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
• Occupied managerial position of no less than 3 years;
• Experience in strategic planning and execution.
• Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
• Knowledge of national and local financial regulations.
• Written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects.
• Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
