The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years in financial management, a CPA or equivalent, and strong skills in accounting software and Excel. Collaboration with auditors and senior management is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification highly desirable.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial management, accounting, or similar finance role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations and best practices in the Philippines.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and analyse comprehensive financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide explanations of financial performance against budget and prior year comparisons.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff and ensure professional development.
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and maintain accounting systems and software to improve efficiency and data integrity.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital management to optimise liquidity.
• Prepare financial reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join CAREERNEXT MANPOWER AGENCY CORP. PHILIPPINES in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in managing and overseeing the financial operations of our organisation. As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for directing financial planning, budgeting, and accounting activities whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organisational policies. This position is integral to supporting our company's growth objectives and maintaining robust financial health.

Key responsibilities

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
