Aolon Philippines Trading Inc. is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the finance and accounting operations, overseeing financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, cash flow management, and statutory compliance while ensuring accuracy of financial records.
This role requires strong leadership to manage the accounting team and support strategic business decisions, with a focus on improving internal controls and ensuring timely financial closes.
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Finance Manager to lead our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will oversee financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, cash flow management, and statutory compliance while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records. This role also requires strong leadership skills to manage the accounting team and support strategic business decisions.

Schedule: Monday to Friday
Lead and oversee the daily operations of the Finance and Accounting Department.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, management reports, and month-end/year-end closing.
Prepare and review tax payments, BIR returns, and statutory reports, ensuring full compliance with Philippine tax regulations.
Manage the filing of BIR returns through the Electronic Filing and Payment System (eFPS), including VAT, withholding taxes, income tax, and other government requirements.
Prepare quarterly Certificates of Creditable Tax Withheld at Source (BIR Form 2307), Alphabetical Lists of Employees and Suppliers, and Summary List of Sales and Purchases (SLSP).
Maintain and oversee the company's books of accounts using Sage and manual BIR books.
Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to maintain healthy financial operations.
Develop budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses to support business planning.
Ensure timely collection of receivables and efficient processing of supplier payments.
Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and government agencies during audits and compliance activities.
Recommend and implement process improvements to strengthen internal controls and increase operational efficiency.
Mentor, supervise, and develop the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support management in strategic decision-making.
Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred but not required.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, BIR regulations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
Experience with accounting software such as Xero or other ERP systems.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and financial planning skills.
Strong leadership and people management abilities.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.
