Job summary

Laus Group of Companies seeks an experienced finance leader to oversee the preparation and consolidation of books and branch financial statements, providing meaningful analysis to Management. The role ensures timely regulatory filings, maintains accuracy of reports, and supports external audits.

Based in San Fernando, Pampanga, the incumbent will supervise staff and drive budget, forecasting, and financial controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 7 years of supervisory/managerial experience.
• Knowledgeable in financial analysis, accounting principles, systems & procedures.

Job description

• Oversees the preparation and consolidation of books and branches financial statements and provides meaningful analysis of such report to the Management. Monitors preparation and ensures timely submission of financial reports.

• Oversees the preparation of all reports needed for filing in all government regulatory bodies periodically and ensures that all reports are complete, accurate and submitted on a timely basis.

• Ensures filing and payment of all returns.

• Review of reconciliation of returns previously submitted and filed even before the final FS.

• Assists the Finance Cluster Head in complying to audit and reportorial requirements, schedules and documents required by external auditors and government offices such as IC, SEC and BIR.

• Updating of Cash Position Report and LCMS and Bank Recon (First Level Review).

• Preparation of Business Unit Performance Review Materials and attendance in the actual review and presentation.

• Assistance in Budget, scenario analysis and Forecast preparations.

• Maintains computerized accounting records & systems, and ensures compliance to back up data control procedures.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting or equivalent.

• At least 7 years relevant experience in Supervisory/Managerial capacity

• Knowledgeable in financial analysis, accounting principles, systems & procedures.

• Proficiency in Accounting software(s) & MS Excel.

• Skills required: Decision making, Leadership, Good Time Management

• Willing to be assigned in San Fernando, Pampanga.
