Precision Foundry of the Philippines, Inc. is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee accounting, reporting, budgeting, tax, and internal controls for a manufacturing environment.

The role drives financial strategy, ensures regulatory compliance, and leads a team of accounting professionals to deliver accurate statements and strategic insights for business planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• CPA certification required or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance.
• Experience in cost accounting, standard costing and inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience in manufacturing, foundry, or industrial environments is an advantage.
• Proficient in accounting systems and MS Excel.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management.
• Lead the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor actual performance vs. budget and recommend actions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and oversee tax filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls and lead audits.
• Manage cash flow, treasury, and banking relationships.
• Supervise accounting staff and provide coaching and performance evaluations.
• Support management in strategic financial decision-making and cost reduction efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
3. At least 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance
4. Experience in cost accounting / standard costing / inventory management
5. Familiarity with: Raw materials costing, Production variances, Inventory controls and reconciliation
6. With at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role
7. Experience in manufacturing, foundry, or industrial environment is an advantage
8. Strong knowledge of:
   • Financial reporting and analysis
   • Taxation (BIR compliance)
   • Budgeting and forecasting
   • Internal controls and audit processes
9. Proficient in accounting systems and MS Excel
10. Strong leadership and team management skills
11. High level of integrity and attention to details

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Financial Management & Reporting

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reports
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to management

2. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Lead the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
• Monitor actual performance versus budget and recommend corrective actions

3. Compliance & Taxation

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Oversee preparation and filing of tax returns
• Coordinate with external auditors and government agencies
• Permits and Licenses

4. Internal Controls & Audit

• Establish and maintain strong internal control systems
• Lead internal audit reviews and implement corrective actions
• Safeguard company assets and ensure proper documentation

5. Cash Flow & Treasury Management

• Monitor cash flow and ensure availability of funds
• Manage banking relationships and financing requirements

6. Team Leadership

• Supervise accounting staff and ensure proper performance
• Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluation
• Improve departmental processes and systems

7. Strategic Support

• Support management in financial decision-making
• Provide insights on cost reduction, efficiency, and profitability
• Participate in business planning and organizational improvements
