Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• 7–10 years of finance and accounting experience, with a focus on retail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all accounting and finance operations across the company portfolio.
• Ensure timely preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
• Develop budgets and forecasts in partnership with management.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
• Monitor cash flow and working capital; manage internal controls.
• Oversee VAT, WHT, CIT, and PIT filings and year-end audit activities.
• Coordinate store openings/closures and cross-functional financial guidance.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Sr. Supervisor/Manager to lead the finance and accounting operations of a growing retail organization. This role is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, tax compliance, internal controls, and audit activities across the business. The ideal candidate is a strategic finance professional with a strong retail background who can drive process improvements while ensuring financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all accounting and finance operations across the company's portfolio.


• Ensure the timely preparation of accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.


• Develop budgets and financial forecasts in partnership with management to support business objectives.


• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.


• Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure optimal financial performance.


• Establish, implement, and monitor effective internal controls to safeguard company assets, including inventory, cash, and fixed assets.


• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.


• Review and oversee VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), Corporate Income Tax (CIT), and Personal Income Tax (PIT) computations and filings.


• Ensure all tax filings and statutory submissions are completed accurately and on time.


• Lead year-end audit activities and coordinate with external auditors.


• Conduct quarterly inventory and cash audits across retail stores.


• Oversee financial documentation related to store openings and closures.


• Provide financial guidance and support to cross-functional teams, including HR and Operations.


• Manage day-to-day finance-related concerns across various departments.


• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.


• Must be CPA


• 7-10 years of finance and accounting experience, with a strong background in the retail industry.


• Solid experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, taxation, internal controls, and audit management.


• Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
