We are looking for a Finance Manager
The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. This role leads the Finance Department and works closely with management to support business growth and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the Finance Department.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor company cash flow, expenses, and financial performance.
- Review and approve accounting entries and financial transactions.
- Maintain the company's general ledger and accounting records.
Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor departmental budgets and cost control initiatives.
- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Support management in financial planning and business decision-making.
Accounting & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Philippine accounting standards and government regulations.
- Supervise tax filings, statutory reporting, and government compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, accountants, legal advisors, and government agencies.
- Ensure timely submission of BIR, SEC, SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG related financial requirements where applicable.
Internal Controls & Risk Management
- Develop and improve financial policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
- Monitor financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Conduct periodic financial reviews and internal audits.
- Safeguard company assets and financial information.
Payroll & Payment Oversight
- Oversee payroll accuracy in coordination with HR.
- Review salary payments, reimbursements, and vendor payments.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop Finance team members.
- Allocate workloads and monitor departmental performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations and training.
Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Present financial analysis to senior management.
- Provide recommendations for business improvement and profitability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
- CPA is highly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of Finance or Accounting experience.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation and accounting standards.
- Experience in budgeting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
