Job summary

Apptain GmbH is seeking an Accounting & Finance Lead to own the company’s financial operations—from daily accounting to strategic financial management. You will ensure data integrity, maintain internal controls, and support decision-making with accurate reporting and analysis.

You will oversee accounting cycles, tax compliance, payroll validation, and interaction with international finance partners while contributing to budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of Philippine accounting standards and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting systems (Zoho Books preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and initiative.
• Experience in multi-entity or international setups is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full accounting cycle from transaction recording to month-end and year-end closing.
• Maintain and update official books of accounts and ensure accuracy of records.
• Ensure accuracy of Zoho Books and supporting financial spreadsheets.
• Safeguard financial documents with organized files.
• Manage daily bank transactions, reconciliations, and fund transfers.
• Prepare consolidated bank reports and coordinate with international finance partners.
• Review payroll and validate salary disbursement with HR.
• Ensure tax compliance and filing (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government agencies on compliance.
