Qualifications

• 15 years in finance with budgeting, strategic planning, cash flow, and process improvement.
• Bachelor’s in accounting/finance and CPA license.
• Master’s in Business or Finance is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Establishes finance operational strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements, and developing funding resources and action plans.
• Undertakes research on local economic trends and revenue opportunities, analyzing operations and proposing cost-effective improvements.
• Monitors financial performance by measuring results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing variances.
• Maximizes return on invested funds and supports the COO in expansion and capital funding.
• Reports financial status by developing forecasts, reporting results, and analyzing variances.
• Acts as guardian of corporate governance and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Updates knowledge of regulations and maintains professional networks and affiliations.

Job description

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

• Establishes finance operational strategies by evaluating effective approaches to achieve corporate financial goals; Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements of the business unit, and identifying funding resources, and developing action plans.
• Undertakes research on local economic trends and revenue opportunities, analyzing operations processes and goal achievement, identifying opportunities for improvement, exploring innovative approaches for greater cost effectiveness, and systems enhancement.
• Monitors financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances
• Maximizes return on invested funds by identifying opportunities to maximize returns and maintaining relationships with the financial community. Assists the COO in exploring Opportunities for expansion and growth and approaches to accumulating capital to fund expansion.
• Reports financial status by developing forecasts; reporting results; and analyzing variances.
• Acts as a guardian of corporate governance and checks for the company’s compliance with all corporate regulatory requirements.
• Updates job knowledge by remaining aware of new national and local regulations, maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications

• Experience of 15 years in the Finance function with demonstrated capability in Financial planning and budgeting, participation in strategic planning, developing budgets and cash flow, promoting process improvement and dealing with complexity
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related finance course and holds a license as a Certified Public Accountant
• Master’s degree in Business or Finance is an advantage.
