Job summary

Lazada Group in the Philippines is seeking a senior finance professional to drive BU P&L dialogue with management and to lead end-to-end financial planning and analysis across multiple locations. You will partner with Tax, Accounting, and Treasury to advise on campaigns and strategic initiatives.

The role requires 9+ years of experience in financial analysis, strong Excel and data skills, and fluency in English to operate in a fast-paced ecommerce environment. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree (knowledge of Accounting is a plus)
• 9+ years of financial/business analysis working experience
• Interest in e-commerce business
• Willing to be hands-on and advanced proficiency in Excel is a must
• System-savvy (preferably knowledge of SQL, Visual Basic, C++, Python)
• Exceptional analytical and numerical skills
• Experience in working with large data sets
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Fluency in English
• Able to start immediately or within short notice

Responsibilities

• Drive monthly BU P&L dialogue with BU management
• Develop and maintain P&L analysis by total company & BUs level
• Take lead finance side to advise biz team on campaign initiatives with Tax, Accounting and Treasury
• Provide timely and accurate budgets, forecasts and actuals
• Partner Controllership on P&L and B/S management
• Establish and monitor KPIs for the BU
• Partner BU management on specific BU projects
• Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by Management

Job description

Business Partnering

• Drive monthly BU P&L dialogue with BU management
• Provide insightful, timely and value-added input on key financial topics
• Work across locations and if needed functionality to ensure that plans are integrated

Financial planning

• End to end partnering in retail business strategic planning in assortment planning, pricing and promotional activities.
• Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly P&L analysis by total company & BUs level to identify Risks & Opportunities
• Take lead finance side to advice biz team on new campaign initiatives by working on with related Finance function (Tax, Accounting and Treasury)

Reporting and analysis

• Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, forecasts and actuals
• Partner Finance Controllership team on P&L and B/S management
• Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the BU

Projects and business cases

• Partner BU management on specific BU projects
• Any other ad-hoc function assigned by the Management
