Job summary

Cebu Pacific Air is seeking a Finance Business Manager to join the Corporate Finance & Investor Relations team in Pasay City. The role focuses on reporting, budgeting, forecasting, risk assessment, and partnering with departments to drive commercial opportunities.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor in Accounting or Finance, 4–5 years of external accounting or audit experience, and strong data analysis and presentation skills. CPA preferred, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Produce insightful reports for senior management and assist in planning, budgeting and forecasting for the supported departments.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities; liaise with Finance/Accounting to reflect financial impacts of projects.
• Review performance via financial modelling and risk analysis to ensure cost‑effective measures.
• Partner with stakeholders to realize commercial opportunities and provide financial insights for business cases.
• Support contracts negotiations by supplying financials and sign‑off on contracts prior to execution.
• Lead projects to accelerate revenue growth, productivity and capital efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement and ensure internal controls are adhered to, enabling improvement recommendations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for producing insightful reports for presentation to senior management and has direct involvement in the planning, budgeting, and forecasting process of the supported departments.
• Identifying and managing risks and opportunities within their scope and acting as intermediary to the broader Finance/Accounting group to ensure that the financial impacts of projects or changes are accurately reflected.
• Review business performance through financial modelling and risk analysis to ensure cost effective measures are implemented.
• Partner closely with key stakeholders to identify and drive the realization of commercial opportunities.
• Provide commercial insights to projects and producing all financials to support business cases through the approvals process, as well as measuring the project impact post implementation.
• Work closely with other departments on contract negotiations, review and sign off on contracts prior to execution.
• Run and participate in projects that accelerate revenue growth, improve productivity and capital efficiency.
• Assist continuous improvement opportunities and to ensure all internal controls are fully adhered to so recommendations can be made for improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of at least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any Finance Management courses.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
• Must be up to date with accounting and other Finance standards.
• Must have 4 - 5 years of experience in external accounting or audit related work.
• Prior experience as a Finance Business Partner is an advantage.
• Management accounting or financial analysis expertise is required.
• Ability to communicate data or complex financial information in a clear and concise way especially to a broad audience or stakeholders.
• Strong presentation skills with a focus on graphical data representation.
• Strong data analysis and modelling skills to analyze and summarize high volumes of data.
• Must have a valid work visa or legal authorization to work in the Philippines.

Note: This position is for an Individual Contributor and will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
