Job summary

HRTx Inc. is seeking a Finance professional to develop, maintain, and strengthen accounting policies and internal controls in line with regulatory and corporate requirements.

You will provide technical accounting advisory on complex matters, lead assessments of new IFRS standards, and collaborate with Finance, Actuarial, and Operations to resolve issues and drive process improvements. Work Setup: Monday to Friday, Full Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and strengthen Finance policies, operating guidelines, and internal controls in line with regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Provide technical accounting advisory on complex accounting matters, including financial reporting, accounting standards, and policy development.
• Lead impact assessments and implementation of new or amended accounting and sustainability standards, including related system enhancements when needed.
• Partner with Finance, Actuarial, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Support Finance initiatives such as vendor financial assessments, Finance projects, system implementations, and other activities requiring technical accounting expertise.

Qualifications

• CPA required; actuarial background is a plus.
• 4+ years of relevant accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards; IFRS 17/9 experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
