Job summary

HRTx Inc, located in the BGC, Taguig area, is hiring for an experienced accounting professional to lead operations, reporting, and budgeting. The role supervises the finance team and partners with department heads and external auditors to ensure accurate financial data and timely decisions.

The position requires a CPA (advantage) with at least five years of progressive accounting/finance experience and strong knowledge of internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field (CPA advantageous).
• Minimum 5 years progressive accounting/finance experience with financial reporting/budgeting.
• At least 1 year in a people management/supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, taxation, and internal controls.
• Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Review financial records, monitor compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Supervise and mentor members of the finance and accounting team, providing guidance, performance management, and professional development.
• Support cash flow management, financial planning, forecasting, and internal control initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with department heads and external auditors to ensure timely reporting, audit readiness, and effective financial decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is advantage but not required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with exposure to financial reporting and budgeting.
• At least one (1) year of proven experience in a people management or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, taxation, and internal controls.
• Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
