Job summary

PH Global Jet Express is seeking a Finance Associate to support audit-related tasks and the preparation of financial reports. You will review books, assist external auditors, and help ensure BIR compliance through VAT reconciliations and tax documentation.

The role requires a degree in accounting/related field and 1 year of relevant experience; knowledge of MS Office is essential. E-commerce or logistics exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Internal Audit, Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related field.
• 1 year of relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting; preferred.
• Experience in E-Commerce or Logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the review and audit of book of accounts and compliance with policies, plans, procedures, laws, and regulation;
• Assisting with the review and audit of the accomplishment of established objectives and goals and whether they are being carried out as planned;
• Assisting external auditors as required;
• Drafting of reports as necessary for approval;
• Assisting in preparation of BIR Compliance such as:
• Reconciliation of monthly VAT per Sales per Book vs per OR;
• Preparation of Summary List of Sales and Purchases (SLSP) and input in the BIR Relief Data Entry BIR system;
• Preparation of Summary Alphalist of Withholding Taxes (SAWT) and input it in the Alphalist Data Entry BIR system;
• Preparation of reconciliations, schedules and documentation for tax assessments (LOA, PAN, FLD, etc.)
• And other BIR reports as required.
• Assisting in the preparation of IC Requirements for Interim and Annual Financial FS;
• And other related duties as may be assigned

Job description

Finance Associate - Audit responsibilities include the preparation and maintenance of the financial reports, examining the profit and loss, deriving conclusions based on the reports and making the necessary recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Bachelor's degree in Internal Audit, Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related field.

2. At least 1 year relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting or similar field preferred.

3. Experience in E-Commerce or Logistics is a plus.
