Job summary

Alpha Aviation Group (Philippines), Inc. is seeking a finance professional to support planning, treasury, compliance, and finance administration, ensuring accurate and timely financial information and reporting.

You will consolidate budgets, prepare financial statements and projections, perform bank reconciliations, assist in tax filings, and help management with analyses in a fast-paced aviation training environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent business-related course.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Experience in financial reporting and auditing exposure is a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate departmental budgets and assist in annual budget preparation.
• Prepare and maintain P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow projections.
• Monitor budget performance and prepare Actual vs. Budget reports.
• Support financial planning and forecasting activities.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and analyses for management.
• Support cost allocation and performance monitoring.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and review banking transactions.
• Review disbursements and fund transfers.

About the role

Alpha Aviation Group is a global aviation training organization dedicated to developing the next generation of airline pilots. This role is responsible for supporting the organization's financial planning, treasury operations, compliance activities, and finance administration while ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate departmental budgets and assist in the preparation of annual financial budgets
• Prepare and maintain Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow projections
• Monitor budget performance and prepare Actual vs. Budget reports
• Support financial planning and forecasting activities
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analyses for management
• Support cost allocation and performance monitoring activities
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and monitor banking transactions
• Review disbursements, fund transfers, and supporting documentation
• Perform foreign currency translation and related treasury functions
• Support tax computations, statutory filings, and regulatory reporting requirements

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent business-related course
• Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, audit, or compliance functions
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience in preparing and reviewing bank reconciliations
• Familiarity with financial documentation, records management, and document control processes
• Exposure to audit activities and tax compliance requirements
• Experience in the preparation of financial statements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
