The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance with 1–3 years of GL experience and strong knowledge of accounting principles. The role involves coordinating with internal departments and supporting audits and regulatory reporting.

Job Description:

The Finance Analyst (GL) will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reconciliations, assisting in financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and experience in handling general ledger functions within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and schedules

• Record journal entries and ensure accuracy of financial transactions

• Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities

• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documents

• Monitor and analyze financial data and account balances

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements

• Support external audits, tax filings, and government reportorial requirements

• Coordinate with internal departments regarding financial concerns and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
